Telenor employees in Nordic and Asian countries make e-learning history

Telenor employees in the Nordic countries and Asia prove they intend to stay at the forefront of skills enhancement to meet the rapidly changing demands of global customers by setting a new world record for online learning.

Telenor Group has created a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS ™ title for most users to take an online personal development course within 24 hours, the Norwegian telecommunications giant recently announcement.

The record attempt began on October 27 at 07:00 CET, and by the same time the next day, a total of 4,504 Telenor employees in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar and Malaysia had conducted the Growth Mindset online course. The successful world record attempt was made by Telenor to signal its continued strong focus on internal upgrade and retraining.

The Growth Mindset course which was chosen for the Guinness World Records attempt promotes the benefits of applying a growth mindset to both the professional and personal lives of employees. Among the Telenor learners who earned the badge was Jo Fan Pang of Digi, Telenor’s Malaysian subsidiary, who said the personal development course had helped him broaden his horizons.

“Reviewing the Growth Mindset Badge was a great reminder of how we should view all challenges as new breakthrough opportunities and that there is always more than one way to solve a particular problem.
