Sisters of the Valley Mexico opens its own e-commerce
Merced, Calif., Jan. 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — After many years of planning and training, the Sisters of the Valley of Mexico have opened an online store and started trading. All operations are currently in Tijuana.
The products in their store are all handmade, by the Sisters of Mexico (Hermanas de la Valle). Sister Camilla and Sister Luna, the first Sisters in Mexico, made their vows at the farm in California in the summer of 2018.
Prior to joining the Sisterhood, Camilla and Luna were very active with cannabis reform clubs in Mexico. The couple continue to lead classes on making ointments and making pure vegetable oil.
Sister Kate said, “For years now, the sisters from Mexico have been a constant presence on our farm in California, as they have taken turns learning all aspects of the business and earning all the badges necessary to go from there. ‘before. It’s really exciting to see Sister Camilla’s team come together to run her own store. And even if they can’t sell the CBD product line in Mexico, they will soon enough and in the meantime, our main store in California is shipping to Mexico. The thing is, we now have a team of sisters who are all fully bilingual and can offer language support to our growing international Spanish-speaking base.
The Sisters of Mexico make, store and ship mushroom coffee, incense, sage, soap and other handcrafted items from the enclave in Mexico. CBD products, for now, will have to continue to be sold and shipped to Mexico from the California enclave. However, the Sisters in Mexico are working with their attorneys and have a clear legal path to emulate the operations of their Sisters in California. Offering CBD products handmade by Mexican women, from plants grown on Mexican soil, for the Mexican people – is only a matter of time.
